I don’t feed my kids perfect whole foods every second if every day, I was shoving candy down their throats at costco yesterday bc they were so naughty (that’s probably why) but every day I try to fuel their growing little bodies with good whole food. If you want to do something healthy for your family this week, it’s all about the baby steps, stop buying sugar cereals. Just do it, we consume way too much sugar through out the day and sugary cereals compound the problem. When I do occasionally buy whole grain O’s for my girls I sprinkle in a tbsp of hemp hearts (3.5 grams of protein) milk of choice, fruit and a tiny tiny drizzle of maple syrup. It’s not perfect but it’s better.
Oh and my husband loves to joke by saying he can’t believe I would feed our kids marijuana…he thinks he’s so funny…
