Thinking I was pretty healthy, besides the occasional animal crackers for breakfast…I knew I was missing something because I was tired way too much despite daily exercise. After reading “It Starts With Food” and completing my whole30 in June I became a believer in whole foods and fueling your body with healthy fats instead of carbs and sugar. I have so much energy, sleep so much better and think clearer. Eating healthy is my passion and I want to share it with you!
Don’t feel overwhelmed, it starts with baby steps and learning what is healthy and what is not, and it really is such a personal decision. I’ve come to realize that people get just as passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as living a religion. It can get touchy. I am sharing what works for me and my family and hope that I can help you along the way.
A little background on me: I grew up in Temecula, (Southern) California. I moved up to Utah for school, married my 6’6″ basketball playing Peter. I have been a graphic designer for 6 years and still occasionally do some freelance design on the side. Now we still are somehow living in Utah, have 2 little girls, enjoy spending time with our family and going out on our boat. He wakeboards, I surf, the littles just hang out.
